Get ready for an intense and supernatural love story! The highly anticipated K-drama Head Over Heels is set to premiere on June 23, promising to captivate viewers with its unique blend of romance, fantasy, and spirituality. Based on a popular webtoon, the drama follows the intertwined fates of two young souls caught between curses, spiritual secrets, and a love that defies even death.
In Head Over Heels, we meet Park Seong A, a high school student living a double life. By day, she’s just an ordinary teenager with dreams and school routines; but by night, she embraces her destiny as a powerful shaman, tasked with calming lost souls and battling otherworldly forces.
Her life takes a dramatic turn when she crosses paths once again with Bae Gyeon U, her first love, played by Choo Young Woo. Gyeon U was born under a dark karma—a death foretold. Throughout his life, he’s sought ways to escape his fate by visiting countless shamans, but his efforts have only left him with deeper wounds and disappointments.
Despite his cold and distant demeanor, Gyeon U shows a gentle, vulnerable side when practicing archery—his only true escape. But everything begins to change as Park Seong A vows to protect him at all costs, even if it means challenging the gods themselves.
Cho Yi Hyun portrays the complex Park Seong A, a girl who longs for a normal life but is bound to a powerful spiritual destiny. Her duality is captivating—by day, a shy student; by night, a commanding shaman capable of facing evil spirits with ritual dances and a fierce gaze.

Another intriguing character is Yeom Hwa, played by Choo Ja Hyun—a shaman who became a spirit in order to survive. She watches the couple from behind a door crack, her eyes filled with sorrow and intensity. Consumed by bitterness and pain, Yeom Hwa may become a dangerous threat—or perhaps an unexpected ally.
Head Over Heels premieres on June 23 in South Korea. The official streaming platform for viewers in Brazil and other regions has yet to be confirmed, but you can follow all the latest updates right here on Kdrama Universe.
