Coming soon is Heavenly Ever After, a drama that promises to deliver a touching love story beyond life. With a transcendental narrative, this K-drama follows the journey of two souls reuniting in heaven, exploring the true meaning of eternal love.

Heavenly Ever After: Love That Transcends Life

The drama follows Lee Hae Sook (Kim Hye Ja) and Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku), a couple who reunites in heaven after their deaths. Directed by Kim Suk Yoon, known for hits like Radiant (The Light in Your Eyes), Law School, and My Liberation Notes, this drama is set to captivate audiences with its emotional and thought-provoking storyline.

Official Poster Released

The official poster for Heavenly Ever After captures a special moment between the protagonists, conveying the serenity and joy of their reunion in the afterlife. Set against a golden backdrop with a celestial glow, the couple is seen holding hands and sharing warm smiles.

The phrase “I just want you to be happy” adds even more emotion, showcasing the depth of the love between Lee Hae Sook and Go Nak Joon. Fans are eagerly anticipating how this love will unfold beyond the boundaries of life and death.

Revealing Teaser

The recently released teaser introduces us to Lee Hae Sook’s journey as she enters heaven. The director of the Heaven Support Center (played by Chun Ho Jin) explains that it is a place where wounds from the world are healed and where each person reflects on their life.

During her stay in heaven, Hae Sook reunites with her mother in her younger form, as well as Young Ae (Lee Jung Eun), someone she feels deep guilt toward. Emotional reunions await the protagonist, including new characters like So Mi (Han Ji Min) and a pastor (Ryu Deok Hwan).

However, the highlight of the teaser is her reunion with Go Nak Joon, her late husband. While Hae Sook is in her 80s, Nak Joon appears in his 30s. Despite the physical age difference, their love remains unchanged. In a touching scene, he declares, “In heaven, everyone has the duty to be happy,” as he holds his wife’s hand and walks with her on this new journey.

Where to Watch Heavenly Ever After

The drama premieres in April on South Korea’s JTBC network and will be available internationally on Netflix. The exact release date has yet to be confirmed, but anticipation for this beautiful love story beyond life is already sky-high!
