On March 31, an industry source revealed that Yumi’s Cells Season 3 is currently in production, three years after the conclusion of the second season. Fans will be thrilled to know that Kim Go Eun is set to reprise her lead role as Yumi.
Responding to these reports, the production company Studio Dragon stated:
“It is true that we are producing Season 3. We have offered Kim Go Eun the role of the protagonist Yumi, and she is currently reviewing it.”
Kim Go Eun’s agency, BH Entertainment, also commented:
“It is a project she has received an offer for, and she is currently reviewing the offer.”
While fans await official confirmation from Kim Go Eun, excitement is already building over the next chapter in Yumi’s story.
